So I was born and raised in San Diego. I’m a HUGE Chargers and Lakers fan and still root for the Padres. I studied Mechanical Engineering at UCLA, where I also played lacrosse, and now live in the Bay Area working at a start-up solar company. I love talking about music, sports and new technologies, which will hopefully save us from ourselves. I’m not a great writer so don’t expect Pulitzer Prize winning stuff. I just kind of like the sound of my keyboard voice and want to share funny and interesting things I come across everyday. I hope you guys enjoy and share the stuff you like to your friends and family too.

Here is a quick history of where I’m coming from on each of these topics…

Sports

I hate the Raiders. I hate the Dodgers. I hate ALL Boston teams with the exception of the Bruins because I did go to UCLA. I may HATE these teams and certain players but I still RESPECT some of them. I’m currently in 3 fantasy football leagues all with money on the line. I read up on all ESPN news articles/analysis pretty much 24/7. I pay attention to almost all sports but mainly the NFL, NBA, college football and bball, tennis, and golf. I will occasionally care about soccer (like every 4 years for the World Cup or any type of tournament that the US is in) and for the most part don’t give a rats ass about hockey, even though all my friends say I would LOVE it because it is pretty similar to lacrosse. MLB…don’t even get me started. It’s the only sport where you can be fat and be in the pros (usually pitchers or 1st basemen). I don’t think fielding is hard at all. The hardest part about baseball is only the pitching and batting and figuring out which ass cheek to inject your steroids.

Music

I want people to come here to find out about new music or to share their experience at a concert or to come for help in collaborating on music you are making. You can also just share cool music videos or songs you can’t get out of your head. I played the piano from age 4 to 12 and the violin from 11-17. I grew up with my parents singing karaoke and have really gotten into singing more recently due to Glee. My dream is to actually be a lead singer of a band.

Technology

TECHNOLOGY is pretty broad, I know. I want to focus only on the things that are going to change the world. Things that will revolutionize how we do something, things that will bring us closer to solving our energy problems (along with global warming). I have a fair amount of expertise in the solar arena. I work at the ONLY company in the world that does CPV (concentrated photo-voltaic) systems. We mainly focus on utility scale and some commercial. I love hearing and learning about new, refreshing ideas!
